Sally Neal - Principal/Owner
Sally started dancing at the age of 3 where her passion for dance grew. At 15 she was teaching her own classes for other dance schools. Dancing has always been a passion for Sally and to be able to pass on her experience to children was always her dream. Sally has performed in many shows, competitions and examinations over the years. She has undertook examinations with the ISTD for Tap and Modern and Cecchetti Ballet. Sally also took examinations with the BTDA for Ballet, Tap and Modern and later achieved her teaching qualification which she holds in Ballet, Tap and Modern. Sally is qualified in Level 3 Childcare, and has previously worked at her local pre-school having experience in the Early Years for many years. Sally now works at a senior school working in the pastoral team dealing with well being and behaviour. Sally holds her Level 2 in safeguarding and is responsible for any safeguarding concerns. Sally teaches at all branches and has the overall responsibility of all classes.

Carla Dujon - Teacher
Carla started dancing at a very young age and joined the SDA family age 11. Here she has achieved Intermediate level in Ballet, Tap and Modern with BTDA, and is now working towards her teaching certificate.
Carla is a qualified teacher in Contemporary and Street Dance with ID Dance Company.
She gained her American Studies Degree at Canterbury Christ Church University. There she joined the Dance Society where she was picked all 3 years for the Competition Team. Carla also succeeded in her audition for the Dance Association Team at Illinois State University while she studied there.
Carla has appeared in music videos for emerging artists. She has performed in various shows including local productions such as Sweet Charity, Guys and Dolls and Fiddler on the Roof. She has choreographed for SDA shows, charity events and festivals and competitions, coming home with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place dances, teaching Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Street and lyrical.
Alongside teaching at SDA, Carla works full-time. Carla is very passionate about teaching, choreographing and bringing out the best in all of the children

Chloe Neal - Teacher
Chloe is Sally's eldest daughter who has been at the dance school since she was born. Chloe was dancing as soon as she could walk and took examinations at a very early age of 2. Chloe loves to perform and has appeared in many shows and has also had the opportunity to dance at The Royal Albert Hall. Chloe has also appeared in a local production of Annie at the Kenneth More Theatre playing the part of 'Duffy', one of the orphans, Showboat, Into the Woods and Cats. Chloe has also appeared in 2 music videos for emerging artists and gained 1st in competitions for her solo lyrical dance. Chloe now enjoys choreographing for shows and competitions. Chloe loves to teach and pass on her experience and passion for dance. Chloe has studied dance at a dance college, and now wishes to continue to teach and pass on her experiences with the children she teaches. Chloe has gained her Primary Education degree and is now a qualified Primary School Teacher.

Sissy Todd - Teacher
Sissy joined SDA age 4. She started assisting with the baby classes alongside Sally at age 15 and took over at age 17 teaching 3-5 year olds and now teaches all ages.
Sissy is a level 3 qualified Early Years Educator. She spent 2.5 years working in a nursery with ages 6 month - 5 years. She would plan activities and make observations for her key children to track their progression. Sissy has brought this knowledge into her dance classes to fully understand where children need development in technique and skill.
Sissy has also appeared in music videos for emerging artists. She has performed in various shows including local charity events as well as our bi-annual productions. Sissy has been involved in competitions placing in the contemporary category.

Sophie Neal - Teacher
Sophie is Sally's other daughter who has been at the dancing school from only a few weeks old.
Sophie has been involved in several local productions such as Into the Woods, ShowBoat, Cats and has had the opportunity to dance at the Royal Albert Hall, she has placed 1st in her contemporary section. Sophie started as an assistant in classes, but now has her own classes. Sophie is fantastic at settling the young children and making them feel part of the class. Sophie has also studied Acro for many years and alongside her sister Chloe has opened up their own classes teaching Acro.

Janet Abrams - Registration/Admin Manager
Janet is Sally's mum who has been Sally's rock since she convinced Sally to open her own school. Even though Janet doesn't teach the school could not run without her as Janet is the first person people see when they come to any of the schools. Janet completes everyone's registrations, keeps the accounts up to date and ensures the safety of all children being dropped off and collected.
